[Somewhere in Kalos, in the middle of the new Lumiose City, there are some former members of what was called Hope's Army who had decided to spend the rest of their days living as a family. They laugh together, they cry together, and they go through their everyday lives one day at a time; and through it all, they love one another as if they had been together all along.
In the world of Shadows, though...it's a bit of a different story. There is a family, yes, or whatever one could call the equivalent of one; they may be exaggerated caricatures, personifications of the things everyone tries to hide about themselves, but at the same time, they're caricatures who try their hardest to live out lives of their own and coexist with one another in spite of their obvious personality issues.
But of course, what family doesn't have their own share of issues? And as utterly maladjusted as this family is, does that really mean they're not a family? Maybe it's just a case that they're so dysfunctional that they end up being functional in their own way; after all, they're clearly not so defective that they can't enjoy themselves with what people who are relatively normal would call a tea party, even if one of the people involved is practically drowning in her tears.
That just might be the way it is, really.]
